This provides the approximate equivalent of 100 watt incandescent light. The included bracket nails or screws to the ceiling joist allowing the fan housing to -Inch Snap-In-Inch . Connect the wiring and the ducting, install the easy fitting grill and you are done. A bath fan installation can now be done in minutes. The durable high impact plastic housing ensures quiet operation and maximum performance. This series is an excellent ASHRAE 62.2 local exhaust solution. The low sound level and energy efficient opertion make them perfect for this application. California Title 24 compliant. UL listed high impact plastic housing will not rust or corrode over time and is listed for installation over a tub or shower on a GFCI circuit. Our bathroom is small, but very closed in so we needed something to help defray the mold issues. This does the trick. The first time we used it, I kept trying to turn the light on because I couldn't even hear it!

Nice quite unit. Can not even hear it when shower on. Simple to install. Odd lite bulb included; purchased one less bright.

After straightening the housing and mounting the unit it worked fine for about a month when the fan became increasingly noisy. I disassembled the unit to look at the fan and motor and found that the fan shaft wobble was very pronounced. I will be scrapping this fine piece of machinery as soon as the weather warms so I can climb into the attic to replace it with a brand name fan.
