I ordered this product for its higher MERV 16 rating, to replace the MERV 12 filter in a Honeywell carrier. It's listed as a suitable replacement and is said to have the same exact dimensions. Sadly, it differs, and is about 1/4" (6 mm) shorter in the 16" nom. dimension. With a bit of extra work, I'll make it fit, carving sections of the shipping box into shims to close the gap, but I fear I'm compromising the superior filtering that I paid twice as much to get.
If you're using this in the Lennox cabinet, you should be fine, but be wary of getting a good fit in the other models with which it is said to be compatible.

Filters generally last about one year. I can tell when it's getting close, because we have increasingly more dust in our home. Owned our home for 28 years and no comparison - this is the most effective filter that we have ever had.

Well I'm giving this only 4 stars instead of 5, because when you take it out of the plastic bag and put it in it has a gray color to the filtering material Looks like a used filter I just took out without the carbon product.I'm sure this is due to the Carbon content but it does make me wonder.
